Updated! Now with illustration!

I bought these shoes from the Oxfam shop because I needed them for a Bugsy Malone party. I love the peep-hole, the top-stitching and the dark brown leather. Sadly, I can’t remember where I found the pink socks, but they’re awesome too.

***NEW SHOES***
Yesterday I wore a pair of brown courts with thick straps and cut-outs on the toe.
The reason why is because my friend Ellie (who, incidentally, is a retail buyer in the shoe department!) held a Bugsy Malone themed party in Battersea Park. I wore a tea dress, long beads, red driving gloves and felt cloche hat.

Jodi was with me, but was distracted by the water pistols and didn’t get a good shot of the new footwear. The photo is from inSpiral in Camden Town, where we went for dinner.
The shoes were £4 from Oxfam, but originated from Marks & Spencer.
Yesterday I wore a pair of glittery gold peep-toe stilettos:

The day rocked for several reasons…
1) I won the challenge.
2) Mum bought me take-out in recognition of my victory.
3) My boss bought me profiteroles made from SHOE (choux) pastry to celebrate.

The shoes were from Oxfam via Principles, setting me back £9.30.

Well, thanks for reading, y’all. I’m off shoe shopping.

Yesterday I wore a pair of pink slingback wedges with cork heels and buttons:

I wore them to work, where I noticed my colleague Richard’s fancy Converse. I then went to the Barbican to see the wonderful Paper Cinema.

These came from Zara via Oxfam. I dislike slingbacks but these don’t rub too much. I’m generally less fussy about charity shop shoes. I also wear a lot of pink.
